Trains are easily the most comfortable way to travel to and from Stockholm Arlanda airport. You can choose between long-distance trains, high-speed trains and commuter trains.

Commuter trains
Commuter trains to Stockholm and Uppsala depart from Arlanda Central Station in SkyCity. SkyCity is located between Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. Total travel time between Stockholm Arlanda and Uppsala is 20 minutes and between Stockholm Arlanda airport and Stockholm Central Station is 40 minutes. You can purchase tickets at Arlanda Central station. Train passengers who get on and off at Arlanda Central station pay an access fee of 120 SEK.

The trains depart from Arlanda Central Station (Arlanda C) in SkyCity. You can buy train tickets at SJ sales points. Train passengers who get on and off at Arlanda Central station pay an access fee of 120 SEK.

Arlanda airport express train
The Arlanda Express runs nonstop between Stockholm and Arlanda.
From Arlanda Airport to Stockholm Central station:
Buy the ticket from our ticket vending machines at Arlanda or Swedavias counters at the respective terminal. The Arlanda Visitor Centre is located in Terminal 5 arrival hall.
From Stockholm Central station to Arlanda Airport:
First stop - Arlanda South: Terminal 2, 3 and 4.
Last stop - Arlanda North: Terminal 5.
You can travel at no cost between Terminals 2, 3 and 5 with Arlanda Express – the trip takes only one minute.
